Chand Baori, India

Chand Baori is a very old wells once with a beautiful view and the famous step well in India. Located near the town of Abhaneri near Jaipur in Rajasthan state, India. Chand Baori is built around the year 800 AM by King Nikumbha dynasty of Chanda. This place is one of the deepest and largest step wells in India with 3500 narrow steps in 13 stories and a depth of 30 meters. The state of Rajasthan is very dry and Chand Baori is intended to conserve water as much as possible. At the bottom of the well, 5 to 6 degrees cooler than the air on the surface, and this place was used as a gathering place for local residents for drinking water in summer. 

The well is no longer used, but it makes for interesting guests an impressive architectural structure and is more than 1000 years in use. In this place there is also a sanctuary adjacent to the well and one of the most favorite in the head.
