An amazing trekking route through an almost unknown region in the Vilcanota Mountain Range at the foot of the Sacred Ausangate snow capped Mountain. The Ausangate trek takes us through extraordinarily beautiful landscapes, inhabited by shepherd communities. It is a demanding hike, but the opportunity to admire the snow capped mountains, Andean wildlife and small remote Andean villages is well worth the effort.
